Alan MorrisonAlan Morrison performs internationally as recitalist and with orchestras and choruses including Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Singers, and the Mendelssohn Club, for the American Guild of Organists, and at venues including Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center, Benaroya Hall (Seattle, WA); The Meyerson Symphony Center (Dallas, TX); and The National Cathedral (Washington, DC). He appeared along with Yo-Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman at the Fred Rogers Memorial Service at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh. An active chamber musician, he collaborates with distinguished musicians and is a founding member of the Orlando Chamber Soloists. He has recorded eight acclaimed CDs. He premiered works by composers including William Bolcom, Dan Locklair, Erica Sessler, and Luis Prado. Mr. Morrison is on faculty at the The Curtis Institute of Music, Ursinus College, and Westminster Choir College of Rider University. He is a graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School of Music.
