Mezzo-Soprano K. Rebecca Oehlers is active as soloist and ensemble musician, specializing in early, Baroque, and new music. She has appeared as soloist with Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Choral Arts Society, St. Marks Choir of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Classical Symphony. Her recent engagements include performances at Piccolo Spoleto, and in France and Germany. She is a member The Crossing Choir, under the direction of Donald Nally, and of the Eakins Vocal Consort, of which she serves on the Board of Directors. She has recorded for the Dorian, Navona, and DTR labels. Ms. Oehlers teaches voice at Drexel University. She graduated from the Mannes College of Music and Temple University, where she received a joint degree in voice and French horn.
